About this Course
This six months program covers Computer Aided Design (CAD), Building Information Modelling (BIM) responding to the current and future challenges posed in architectural and construction practice. This course of study prepare you to, modify and enhance designs using CAD software as the principal platform. You will be able to explore various features and functions of 2D and 3D CAD software and apply them in the design process. It further provides you with an introduction to the BIM based computer software as an aid to design in the built environment
Career Options
In addition to the capabilities of applying software for industrial design & drafting, the course prepares students to evaluate computer aided design based on critical thinking and problem solving skills. The students will be able to identify and interpret information provided in technical drawings, schematics, or mask sets in a professional way. After completion this program, they can take up the following designated jobs: Architectural Designer, CAD Designer, CAD Drafter, Architectural and Civil Drafters, 3D Modeler & 3D Animator.
